Description
Villa Ghirlanda is a beautiful villa located near Gaiole in Chianti, in the heart of Chianti area.
The property is accessed through a short tree-lined path, along which you can admire a wonderful panorama of the surrounding countryside.
The villa boasts a large private garden (4,000 sqm) on 3 sides, decorated with many ancient jars, plants and flowers.
Moreover, among the outdoor spaces you will find a lovely private swimming pool (8 x 4 m), a dining table and a barbecue, ideal for pleasant alfresco meals.
The villa's owner is a wine maker and you can book with him a visit to his cellars and a taste of his wines.

Attractions
Villa Ghirlanda is located in Monteverdi, at 1.2 away from the village of Gaiole in Chianti, in the wonderful area of Chianti Classico, known worldwide for the prestigious wine to which it gives birth (the typical emblem of the Gallo Nero) and for its evocative sceneries and charming villages which are along the “Via Chiantigiana”, from the nearby Greve to Panzano, from Castellina to Radda.

Even Siena, a splendid medieval city full of tradition and artistic masterpieces, is near, just 40 minutes away by car.
It is also worth visiting the countryside of Siena: here you will find other medieval gems, of incomparable charm and still remained intact, like Monteriggioni, San Gimignano and San Galgano.

In the village of Gaiole in Chianti you can find all basic shops (grocery sore, bakery, butcher, newsstand...) and some restaurants and bars.
For shopping lovers, it is advisable to go to The Mall (40 km), a luxury outlet centre where you can find the most famous Italian and International high fashion brands.

Lastly, for archeology/astronomy lovers, we suggest a visit to the nearbyetruschian site of Cetamura (4 km) and the Astronomical Observatory of "Torre Luciana" (37 km).

The property (400 sqm), spread over 2 floors, can accommodate up to 12 people for a total of 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.

First floor: The upper floor has a large living area, beautifully furnished with antique furniture, comfortable sofas, armchairs, a fireplace and a long wooden dining table.
Following a spacious fully equipped kitchen (with dishwasher, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer and breakfast table).
The sleeping area is made up of 6 large double bedrooms (3 of them are splittable), decorated in bright colors.
